SILAPOR 3G - for the construction of warm air fireplaces

Description and use:
This is the most widespread construction program. SILAPOR 3G is the ideal material for masonry of classic hot air fireplaces. Fireplaces made of SILAPOR 3G warm up pleasantly compared to fireplaces made of insulating boards. Part of the heat energy is therefore transferred by the fireplace to healthy radiation. However, it is not a full-fledged radiant accumulator
material. It guarantees a solid construction of the fireplace, which you can cover with practically anything.

Technical details
Density750 Kg/m3
Compressive strength 4.7 MPa
Thermal conductivity at 200 °C0,48 W/mk
Thermal conductivity at 200 °C500 °C

Technical characteristics and processing:
SILAPOR 3G has a bulk density of 750 kg/m3. It is very strong and dimensionally stable. A diverse range of different building elements is available, which allows to design accurate and interesting buildings. It can be tiled with heavier tiles without any worries. It can be processed easily
with the help of a hand saw.

RELAX 3G - fittings for the construction of storage fireplaces

Description and use:
The composition of the RELAX 3G fittings is specially tuned for the construction of storage fireplaces (hypocausts). Fireplaces from RELAX 3G accumulate a large amount of thermal energy, which is then transferred very quickly to the heated space by radiation.

Technical details
Density1350 Kg/m3
Compressive strength 7,5 MPa
Thermal conductivity at 200 °C1,3 W/mk
Thermal conductivity at 200 °C500 °C

Technical characteristics and processing:
RELAX 3G has a volumetric weight of 1,350 kg/m3. This volume already guarantees interesting storage capabilities (specific heat capacity). For the maximum rate of transfer of thermal energy (thermal conductivity), RELAX 3G is enriched to a large extent with expanded graphite. This natural mineral forms a network in the molding that evenly and quickly distributes thermal energy through the molding. The material is very strong. It can be covered with anything. Work with an angle grinder with a stone wheel (carborund wheel). A wide variety of shapes are also available.

GRAFIT 3G - for the construction of full-scale storage heaters

Description and use:
Fittings marked GRAFIT 3G were developed for the construction of full-scale storage heaters (fireplaces, stoves, stoves, hypocausts). Emphasis was placed on GRAFIT 3G starting to transmit thermal energy in the shortest possible time and accumulating the largest possible amount of thermal energy in a given volumetric weight. We recommend it for the construction of heaters where 12 to 24 hour accumulation is required.

Technical details
Density2100 Kg/m3
Compressive strength 34 MPa
Thermal conductivity at 200 °C1,4 W/mk
Thermal conductivity at 200 °C500 °C

Technical characteristics and processing:
GRAFIT 3G has a minimum volume weight of 2,100 kg/m3. Workability is easier than with standard fireclays. Process with an angle grinder with a carborundum disc or on a table saw. It is very strong and hard. GRAFIT 3G can be covered with anything. It also contains a large amount of the natural mineral graphite to achieve maximum thermal conductivity. A wide variety of shapes are also available.

SILAPOR MG 1000 - radiant liapore board with magnesite

Description and use:
These are cast large-format slabs reinforced with a special 30 mm pearl made of purely natural raw materials - Liaporu (burnt clay) with the addition of magnesite (surface mined rock).
These raw materials are used and popular in the stove industry for their properties, which are in perfect harmony with the needs of our field. Both raw materials are mixed in a ratio that results in a volumetric weight of approx. 1000 kg/m3 (possible deviations / natural materials). Such a product is an ideal wall material for a radiant, brick, honest type of fireplace surround. In addition to the aforementioned, this effect is also ensured by the reduced thickness of the board. SILAPOR MG 1000 with its volumetric weight is located at the interface between the radiant and accumulation plate. Using Silapor MG and other structural elements from the SILATERM range, it is possible to solve such a situation to much higher customer satisfaction. You can offer a healthy radiant version of the fireplace even in combination with storage elements. SILAPOR MG 1000 is also developed for fireplaces without grates, i.e. hypocausts. To increase the storage capacity of a fireplace built from SILAPOR MG 1000, we recommend fireplace inserts with storage elements (rings, side and back paneling), or simply build a false wall between the back insulated wall of the fireplace and the fireplace insert made of full-fledged storage material (e.g. GRAFIT storage plates, vol. .wt. 2,100 kg/m3 see fig.). The thermal energy created in such a fireplace can be better distributed over time and thus gain the advantage of a storage heater. Such a fireplace has a much higher utility value for the customer with a minimal impact on the total price for the work. This puts you in a more advantageous position compared to the competition, which does not offer radiant and storage fireplaces.

Technical details
Density1000 Kg/m3
Compressive strength 7.2 MPa
Thermal conductivity at 200 °C1,15 W/mk
Thermal conductivity at 200 °C500 °C

Technical characteristics and processing:
SILAPOR MG has a bulk density of 1,000 kg/m3. It is very strong and dimensionally stable. It is reinforced with a special pearl. It can be tiled with heavier tiles without any worries. It can be easily processed with the help of a hand saw.
